Sorry guys...and deck review

Hey guys,

Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been in school and I'm in the home stretch. Finally!
My updates will probably still be sporadic, but I'll do what I can.

So, for today, I wanted to pass along a deck that I was playing around with that I found at Shriek.

I had some help to decipher how the deck works.
If you can't figure it out, it based around Falcon, obviously.
To be more accurate, it's more like "PROTECT THE FALCON TO THE DEATH!"

He's basically your main attack force.

So here are the combos that the deck can perform;

-Falcon + Big Bang Shot
Personally this is my favorite combo. You equip Big Bang to your OPPONENT'S monster, not your own. 

"The equipped monster gains 400 ATK. When the equipped monster attacks a Defense Position monster whose DEF is lower than the equipped monster's ATK, inflict the difference as Battle Damage to your opponent. When this card is removed from the field, the equipped monster is removed from play."

Now re-read the last sentence of the above text. See it now?

You declare an attack with the Falcon while the Big Bang is equipped to your opponent's monster, it gets removed from play and you don't have to worry about that monster anymore, off the field and out of your sight!

The same goes for when you activate Trunade or Zephyros's effect. Bounce the Big Bang and away it goes!

-Faclon + Red Screen

Before you ask, here is the text of Red Screen;
'Your opponent's monsters cannot declare attacks. This card's controller must pay 1000 Life Points during each of their End Phases (this is not optional), or this card is destroyed. If "Red Dragon Archfiend" is face-up on the field, you can select 1 Level 1 Tuner Monster in your Graveyard, then destroy this card and Special Summon that monster.'

Just read the first sentence and forget everything else. This means that you opponent can't attack you while you have this face-up on the field. Combined with Falcon means that you won't take that 1000 points of damage for having it face-up on your field.

I guess Swords of Revealing Light can also apply here as well. But there are times where you can read your opponent has a Ryko or a Snowman Eater and you don't want to flip by Swords. Red Screen provides that alternative to your face-down monster problems.

On the individual cards;

-Mist Valley Falcon
Main attack force, enough said.

-Barrier Statue of the Stormwinds

Personally, this was the card that stood out when I saw the list. It prevents all the synchro summon nonsense that others may pull off (with the exception of Wind Attribute monster, Stardust Dragon being the most common synchro monster to summon), and any other special summons that aren't Wind Attribute. This forces your opponent to play around it and make some bad decisions that most likely aren't going to benefit them. This would the second most important monster next to the Falcon to protect to the death.

-Dragunity Darkspear 

You can think of this card as 3 more Monster Reborns, at a cost of your normal summon of Darkspear. You can basically revive any monster in the monster line-up of the deck. Probably the best choice would be Sacred Crane = ) 

-Blackwing Zephyros the Elite

Another alternative if you don't happen to have Mist Valley Falcon on the field and you got this bad boy in the graveyard. Taking a mere 400 points of damage is nothing compared to the plays that are going to follow if you need the bouncing effect.

-Sacred Crane

There are so many ways to bring this card out; from the deck, from the graveyard (ok, maybe not so many ways but drawing a card when it gets special summoned is always a plus, not matter what). My only issue is that its a light monster, if it weren't, then it would be run in threes to get all that draw power!

-Big Bang Shot

Only purpose of this card is to equip to your opponent's monster and find a way to bounce it to your hand. Watch their monsters go far, far away; to be never seen again (hopefully).

-Forbidden Lance

Only purpose it serves is to protect the Falcon and the Barrier Statue, nothing more, nothing less.

-Swallow's Nest

The enabler of the deck that allows you to trade whatever monster you have on the field for a better one in your deck. Keep in mind that it can only get the same level as the one tributed though.

-Fiendish Chain

Your own mini-Skill Drain and Spellbinding Circle in one. Negate any one effect monster's effect and then bounce it with the Falcon for re-use on your turn. 

-Red Screen

Your very own Wall of Revealing Light, if played right, you won't have to pay any life to use it and stop your opponent's attacks dead in its tracks.

-Limit Reverse

Surprise your opponent when they declare a special summon by reviving your Barrier Statue in your graveyard! Watch them squirm that they have to waste resources in order to get rid of a tiny Barrier Statue.

Overall, I like this build, but I do have a few things that it could use improvement on.

For starters, the low monster count, only 12 monster?!
I definitely do not like that. Although my play style is similar to a stun deck, if I do not have at least a Falcon in my opening hand, then things are going to go south. But I suppose that is remedied by the Dualities, but it doesn't reassure me when I see the monster line-up.

Also, the amount of support that it needs it ridiculous, but it's necessary in order to keep control of the game.

But I have to give credit to the one that piloted and made this deck. The decklist is interesting and the plays it can perform are very enjoyable. Good job, Japan!

Trap From the Hand, You Say?!

Z-One activates trap cards from his hand?!

I didn't realize that he had an invisible Makyura the Destructor that has been sent the graveyard during every single turn of the game.

Each of what Z-One used so far was epic. "The Magician's Wisdom". Activate Giant Truande, chain The Magician's Wisdom, you opponent burns for 300 each? Ridiculous.

"The Fool's Ruling"? Can you say, Colossal Fighter/Armory Arm OTK finally has no weakness? Insane.

But the most broken thing I saw was the "The High Priestess's Staff" . End the battle phase, and deal 500? It's like having more Battle Faders in your hand. Can anyone say, Final Countdown FTW?
