Louie (Gravekeepers) vs. Mario (Gravekeepers)

We have ourselves a Gravekeeper mirror match! Both players may be the same deck archtype, but it remains to be seen if each deck is exactly the same, card for card.
Louie won the opening roll and will be starting this game.

Warning was added to his hand (It should be noted that Pot of Duality could not be activated because Spy’s effect to special summon was negated; it does not change the fact that a special summon was attempted but was not successful. Error was caught after the match.). Louie set three cards and ended his turn.

Mario set one card. Recruiter attacked into Descendant; with not results, since Recruiter’s attack matches Descendant’s defense.

Louie summoned Commandant. Descendant activated its effect; tributing the Commandant to destroy Mario’s set Book of Moon. Louie flipped Spy and Mario conceded the game.

A long drawn out match filled with back and forth counters only to give Louie the answers he need to power out of a stalemate and take game one. A costly mistake by Mario in game two during his first turn, has cost him any advantage and eliminated any chance of Mario maintaining control of the game, which gives Louie the green light slowly pick at Mario’s life points.

Louie defeats Mario 2-0!
