Louie's Fishy OTK Deck

Today we are featuring Louie’s Fish deck that involves the one turn kill that involves the Super Ancient Deepsea Coelacanth. The combo has fallen out of play for a while now. But with the introduction of Formula Synchron in Starstrike Blast, the OTK now seems viable once again. As seen by Louie as he dominated his opponent in Round 1.

The main combo of the deck is to summon Super Ancient Deepsea Coelacanth, while he has no other monsters on the field. Its effect allows him to summon two Fishborg Blaster, and two Oyster Meister.  If Oyster Meister was sent to the graveyard; its effect gives special summons a token. From there on, there are many possibilities on what Louie chooses to synchro summon next, depending on the situation. This is also another deck that can synchro summon Shooting Star Dragon.

Gold Sarcophagus is to search out Louie’s Coelacanth. Moray of Greed is to dig through his deck to find the right pieces for the combo. Pot of Duality is to also search out the pieces as well. Mystical Space Typhoon, Cold Wave, and Giant Trunade are to make sure that the combo goes without any interruption of the opponent’s spell and trap cards. There are chainable spells in the deck to ensure that Treeborn Frog comes back.

Gorz is required so that the deck can tribute for the Coelacanth. Swap Frog is to discard components from the deck to set up for the combo. Fishborg Blaster is the main tuner for the deck in order to facilitate the combo. Oyster Meister is the other component needed for the combo. Light and Darkness Dragon serves as the deck’s Solemn Judgment; negating whatever is in the way. If Light and Darkness Dragon is destroyed, its effect could bring back a key component in order to launch the combo.

The deck basically waits by filling up the graveyard with the components needed and cards needed in hand, while the opponent attempts to rush them down, until resources are almost depleted to the point where the opponent cannot fight back. Then Coelacanth is summoned and so begins the OTK where the opponent can no longer fight back.
